Star Splits: Hilary KO's Chad

One of Hollywood's longtime cute couples, HILARY SWANK and CHAD LOWE, are separating, they announced today. The Oscar winner (and former Lifetime movie fixture!) married ROB LOWE's brother in 1997, and he always rooted her on when she collected those awards for 'Million Dollar Baby' and 'Boys Don't Cry.' They actually seemed down to earth for a Hollyweird twosome. We loved it when she said, "I'm just a girl from a trailer park who had a dream," at the Oscars and then parked her award on a table at AstroBurger afterwards to celebrate! Swank's manager says that "Hilary and Chad have decided to separate but they are hopeful they will be able to get through this tough time."


Nick & Jessica Update

In more star breakup news, NICK LACHEY is not helping his rep as a straight man by admitting he used to wear wife JESSICA's high heels in Elle magazine. Ironically, she'll be at the People's Choice Awards tomorrow night on CBS shaking her ass to "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" from that big turkey, "The Dukes of Hazzard." That is, if she can pry them off her ex-hubby's size 12 hoofs! Yeehaw!
